Beginning this weekend, the Danville Science Center desires guests pull the plug from the normally-at-hand electronic devices and connect with science rather.
The center will open the Science Unplugged exhibit on Saturday, sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Danville Foundation.
The concept is to enable guests of all ages to get a really feel for the low-tech approaches to discover science, especially principles behind physics and architecture, according to a news release.
In Science Unplugged, a new exhibit opening Saturday at the Danville Science Center, guests can create a bridge, reconstruct globe-renowned arches, make a gravity-defying cantilever, experiment with tops, discover wheels, “throw” bursts of air and get a mechanical benefit applying pulleys, gears and much more.

The exhibitions are integrated with Danville Science Center admission, according to the release. Members, active military and youngsters three and beneath are admitted totally free.
The Danville Science Center also provides discounts for EBT cardholders.
