Crystal Palace have announced that they will be losing eight players this summer, including goalkeeper Fran Kitching and midfielder Kirsten Reilly. The news was revealed on the club’s official website this morning.
Fran Kitching joined Crystal Palace in summer 2022 from Sheffield United and was the first-choice goalkeeper for The Eagles in the 2022/2023 season. However, she was absent from the squad throughout this season and made 23 appearances for Crystal Palace in all competitions during her time at the club.
Kirsten Reilly also joined Crystal Palace in the summer of 2022 when the club became full-time professional. She has since made 44 appearances for The Eagles in all competitions and played in nearly all of Crystal Palace’s fixtures in the Barclays Women’s Championship this season, helping the team clinch the league title and secure promotion to the top flight.
In addition to Kitching and Reilly, other players leaving Crystal Palace this summer include Polly Doran, Anna Filbey, Shauna Guyatt, Annabel Johnson, Natalia Negri, and Ellie Noble as their contracts come to an end.
