The Community Wellness Center, located in Victorville, is celebrating its 5th anniversary with a free family-friendly event on Saturday, April 20 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event will take place at 12353 Mariposa Road, Suites C2 and C3 and will feature promotions, raffles, toy giveaways, snacks, balloon twisters, fitness and cooking demonstrations, facility tours and more.
The center offers year-round classes and resources at no cost to individuals struggling with weight or loneliness or in need of additional services like housing, after-school programs and food. As the largest not-for-profit Medicare-Medicaid public health plan in the country serving over 1.5 million Riverside and San Bernardino County residents enrolled in Medicaid or IEHP DualChoice for 27 years it strives to bridge the gap of limited resources available locally by providing necessary services to the community.
As one of the top ten largest Medicaid health plans Inland Empire Health Plan has a growing network of nearly six thousand providers and over three thousand team members dedicated to improving healthcare access and outcomes for their members.
