On Wednesday afternoon, a Toyota 4Runner backed into a parked car and then into the Sugarfoot Books Inc. storefront on 615 San Anselmo Ave., according to the Ross Valley Fire Department. The incident occurred at around 12:20 p.m., and no one was injured in the accident. Battalion Chief Jake Peterson stated that the crash was an accident and that there was no evidence to suggest that the driver was under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the time of the incident.
