Camtek Acquires FormFactor’s FRT Metrology Enterprise for $100 Million

Check and measurement applied sciences firm FormFactor has agreed to promote its FRT Metrology enterprise to Camtek for $100 million in money. The businesses introduced the deal on Monday, stating that it brings collectively FRT, a provider of metrology options for the superior packaging and silicon carbide markets, with Camtek, a producer of inspection and metrology tools for the semiconductor business.

Camtek expects the acquisition to be accomplished by the top of the 12 months and anticipates that it’ll contribute roughly 10% to its annual income in 2024.
