The MUSC Global Health Week is seeking abstracts for its poster session, which will take place in all areas of global health. Submissions must be in narrative form and should not include tables, charts, or graphs. The abstract should be a maximum of 300 words, not including the title.
To be accepted, abstracts must be well-organized, concise, clear, and well-written. They should include the problem being addressed and the approach taken to solve it. While providing preliminary results is suggested but not required, results will be required for the final poster presentation. It is important that authors establish a clear connection between their work and outcomes related to global health.
The committee will evaluate submissions based on originality, presentation, relevance, quality, and clarity. If an abstract is accepted, the author will be required to present it at the event and obtain pre-approval from any co-authors before submitting it.
Authors will receive notification of acceptance by March 29th with detailed instructions on how to prepare their posters for display at the event.
