A free-agent edge rusher, Bud Dupree, may be on the verge of joining a new team after completing a visit with the Chargers. According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Dupree has shown interest from both the Falcons and Steelers. He began his career as a first-round pick for the Steelers in 2015 and spent six seasons with the team before signing with the Titans in 2021. In his last season with the Falcons, Dupree recorded an impressive 6.5 sacks, eight tackles for loss, and eight QB hits in 16 games. He also had three passes defensed and two forced fumbles.
Over his 119-game career with 99 starts, Dupree has accumulated an impressive record of 53.0 sacks, 70 tackles for loss, and 90 QB hits. At age 31, he is a proven pass rusher with experience in the league and could be a valuable addition to any team in need of a strong defensive presence.
