Brookline Residents Invited to Participate in Human Services Assessment Survey: Help Shape Future Programs

The Human Services Assessment and Gap Analysis initiated by the Brookline Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) is currently inviting residents to participate in a Resident Survey. This survey aims to gain insights into residents’ experiences with accessing various human services, with the goal of identifying barriers that may be preventing people from receiving the care they need.

The Resident Survey is available in Chinese, Russian, Spanish, and English, making it accessible to all members of the community. Participants are encouraged to take the 10-minute survey to help improve accessibility and effectiveness in Brookline’s services.

This survey is just one part of the third phase of the Human Services Assessment and Gap Analysis initiated by DPHHS in October 2023 in collaboration with consultants Kulik Strategic Advisors (KSA). Along with the Resident Survey, KSA will conduct focus groups among select populations to better understand the data behind residents’ experiences. The initial phases involved developing a resource inventory of human services and collecting provider surveys and conducting key informant interviews.

“We are excited to launch this survey,” said Sigalle Reiss, Director of DPHHS. “Residents’ voices are essential in shaping future programs that will better serve our community.” Participating residents will receive a $10 gift card for their time.
