In an effort to break the current record held in Bosnia, the City of Kyle in Texas is hosting a gathering for individuals named Kyle. The event will take place on May 18 at the Kyle Fair, which is open to anyone with the name “Kyle” spelled exactly that way.
To participate in this record-breaking attempt, proof of the first name “Kyle” must be provided. Variations of the name, such as Kyler or Kyal, will not be accepted. Middle names, last names, and nicknames also do not qualify for participation.
City officials are hoping to surpass last year’s “Gathering of the Kyles” event in Kyle, Texas which brought together 1,490 participants from across the country. The Kyle Fair A Tex-Travaganza will run from May 17-19 at Lake Kyle Park and feature live music, food trucks, margarita judging, rib judging and other activities. Admission to the fair is free for all attendees.
