Orit, one of the mothers whose child was among those freed, shared her family’s bittersweet experience of welcoming him back while mourning the sudden loss of his father. She emphasized the importance of giving Almog the time and space he needs to process his experiences and start a new chapter in his life.

The medical teams conducting thorough assessments of the returnees’ physical and mental well-being, including tests and evaluations to address any injuries and provide psychological support. Despite the lack of serious injuries among the returnees, they are being monitored closely by a psychosocial team to ensure they have the necessary support as they navigate the challenges of readjusting to life after captivity.

The mother also expressed her support for families of remaining 120 abductees, calling for swift action to secure their release. She urged for signing a deal that has been proposed to bring all remaining captives home safely.
