A nonprofit organization called Boots for Health Foundation is dedicated to improving the lives of veterans. The foundation takes a holistic approach to support veterans with mental health conditions, by addressing all aspects of a veteran’s well-being. They offer various services such as life coaching, fitness training, and nutrition coaching at no cost to veterans.
Logan Spiewak, a Marine Corps veteran and the co-founder and Executive Director of the foundation, had a difficult time adjusting to civilian life after being discharged from the military. He met Don Trott, another co-founder of the organization, at the gym and was mentored by him. Together, they founded Boots for Health Foundation to help other veterans who may be struggling.
The foundation has already assisted over 150 veterans in South Central Pennsylvania, providing them with the support they need to lead healthier and happier lives. By breaking down barriers that hinder veterans from prioritizing their overall health, Boots for Health aims to make a positive impact on the lives of many more veterans in the future.
