MAPLETON — Blue Earth Area’s Addison Armstrong displayed her athletic versatility by striking gold in an person sprint and one particular field occasion to complement anchoring a runner-up relay to energy the area’s track &amp field contingent to subsequent week’s Section 2A Meet.

Natalie Schiltz netted fifth spot in the open 400 with a time of 67.75 for Blue Earth Region, though teammate Aubrey Woodwick rounded out the team’s advancers by pocketing seventh in the three,200-meter run in 13:36.72.

Kayla Mattson created the Madelia/Truman/ Granada-Huntley-East Chain/Martin Luther Jayhawk team’s lone girls sectional bid by crossing the finish line in the open 400 in a sixth-spot time of 68.1.

Lucy Larson and Katie Hartke topped Martin County West’s girls lineup by garnering second-spot showings in their respective sprint and lengthy-distance races. Larson struck silver by crossing the finish line in the one hundred-meter dash in 13.87, though Hartke delivered a runner-up time of 12:46.56 in the three,200-meter run to advance to subsequent Saturday’s section meet.

Berent Kosbab claimed seventh in the open one hundred (12.44) for MCW/BO, Jamesson Forsberg pocketed eighth in the 1,600-meter run (four:54.43), though the 4×400 relay completed fourth in three:36.78.
