Small Business Wagger-Day is returning to Rocket Fizz in downtown Ann Arbor on Saturday, with the Humane Society of Huron Valley set to benefit from 10% of the shop’s sales. Tom Holmer, co-owner of Rocket Fizz, expressed his excitement about the partnership, stating the importance of giving back to the community on Small Business Saturday.
Located at 306 Main St., Rocket Fizz offers a variety of sweet treats, including candy, taffy, novelties and over 500 flavors of soda pop. In addition to sales contributions, cash donations for HSHV will be accepted throughout the holiday season.
Laura Crouch of HSHV expressed her gratitude for the support from businesses like Rocket Fizz. She emphasized that the organization has been serving animals in need for 125 years and that their contributions have helped them achieve a record-breaking 96% save rate by providing adoption services, low-cost veterinary care and behavioral training among others.
