In light of recent health concerns, the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) has issued a warning to the public against consuming any Diamond Shruumz-brand Microdosing Chocolate Bars, Infused Cones, or Micro Dose and Macro Dose gummies. Instead, individuals are advised to dispose of these products immediately to avoid potential health risks.
According to Dr. Natasha Bagdasarian, the Chief Medical Executive for the State of Michigan, there have been reported health effects associated with these chocolates, gummies, and other edibles. These effects include seizures, decreased consciousness, respiratory failure, agitation, abnormal heart rates, high or low blood pressure, nausea and vomiting. Anyone experiencing symptoms after consuming these products should contact their healthcare provider for care and report their symptoms to the Poison Help Line.
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has been working with the company to discuss a potential voluntary recall; however, the company has not yet initiated one. While cases have been reported in 20 states so far, there have been no confirmed cases in Michigan at this time. MDHHS advises that if you or someone you know has consumed these products and is experiencing any adverse reactions or symptoms
