Designer Malcolm Mckeon has selected Alejandra as the coolest and most innovative yacht of our time. He was struck by the classic beauty of the ketch, admiring its beautifully proportioned design, classic sheerline, low freeboard, and elegant deckhouse. Originally commissioned for King Juan Carlos of Spain, Alejandra was designed by Bruce King and built in aluminium by Astilleros Mefasa.

Alejandra is a true masterpiece, featuring teak decks with dual sunken spaces for separate cockpit and dining areas. The interior is crafted with Cuban mahogany, adding to the boat’s timeless elegance. Bruce King, a California-based designer, believes that a successful yacht must be beautiful. He has worked on over 200 yachts and 55 superyachts throughout his career, collaborating with Ed Dubois for 30 years before establishing his own team. Some of his notable designs include Ribelle, Missy, Liara, and Sarissa, as well as concepts for luxury cruising multihulls.

Malcolm Mckeon is no stranger to designing stunning yachts. Throughout his career he has worked on over 200 yachts and 55 superyachts. His latest project is the Ribelle which he collaborated with Ed Dubois for 30 years before establishing his own team.
