Alabama secures commitment from 2025 3-star interior offensive lineman Mal Waldrep

In recent news, the Alabama Crimson Tide has experienced a positive development on the recruiting front. Following an official visit to Tuscaloosa over the weekend, three-star interior offensive lineman Mal Waldrep from the class of 2025 announced his commitment to Alabama. This marks the second offensive lineman to commit to the Crimson Tide in as many days, with four-star Michael Carroll being the other.

Waldrep, who currently plays for Central-Phenix City High School in Alabama, stands at 6-foot-5 and weighs 320 pounds. The Alabama coaching staff has recruited him to play the guard position at the college level, and it is likely that he will continue to do so. With both Tyler Booker and Jaeden Roberts facing potential loss to the 2025 NFL draft, Waldrep’s commitment will help strengthen Alabama’s offensive line haul for that year’s recruiting class.

Roll Tide Wire will continue to provide updates on the Alabama football program and its recruiting efforts as they unfold.
