On a day with rain and clouds, Winter Vinecki earned her third individual win of the season in the aerials event in Lac-Beauport, Canada. Despite the challenging weather conditions, athletes had to adjust their game plans.

The U.S. team had a strong showing in the competition, with five women and two men advancing to the finals. Among them was Winter Vinecki, who missed out on the previous day’s finals but qualified in second place on Sunday.

In the finals, Vinecki almost lost her balance but managed to secure a sixth-place finish and advance into the super finals. Chris Lillis also fell hard during the competition but managed to avoid injury.

In the final round, Vinecki came out on top by performing a back lay-full-full as the only woman attempting a triple. This led her to her third individual win and fourth overall win of the season, earning her the yellow leader’s bib.

After winning in Lac-Beauport, Winter Vinecki and her teammates will head to Almaty, Kazakhstan for their final World Cup of the season on March 10th after taking some time off for rest and training period before that event
