The ACDE (Christian Association of Business Leaders) held its annual meeting at the Patricios Regiment, with a record-breaking attendance of 420 enthusiastic attendees. Despite the absence of governors and specially invited officials, the majority of attendees still expressed support for the government, albeit with nuances.

Gonzalo Tanoria Bemberg, owner and president of San Miguel citrus company, voiced his support for Javier Milei by capitalizing the company at US$40 million. He encouraged other entrepreneurs to join in supporting Milei by investing in production lines, new machines, or hiring more people.

During a debate on “What is happening to Argentina?” led by Santiago del Sel and Juan Vaquer, Vaquer emphasized the need for a revolution of values and spoke out against corruption. Meanwhile, former Dow employee Juan Vaquer addressed the issue of corruption within the government and called for a change in societal tolerance.

The meeting also highlighted issues such as the RIGI (Incentive Regime for Large Investments) and the need for change in the management of the current economic situation. The meeting was chaired by Luis Guastini, CEO of Manpower Group, and concluded by Silvia Bulla, president of ACDE, who emphasized the need for comprehensive development in Argentina.

Throughout the event, various speakers and attendees discussed the current state of affairs in Argentina, showing both support for the government’s efforts and a call for change in the country’s economic management. The meeting provided a platform for dialogue and reflection on the challenges and opportunities facing Argentina’s business community.
