Justin Morley, a seasoned hospital operations executive with over five years of experience, has been named the new vice president of operations at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital-Jefferson City. He succeeds Becky Miller, who retired last year from the position.
Morley’s tenure at the SSM Health System office saw him play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing SSM Health’s Operating Model. During his time there, he also established the Clinical Recruitment Team, which has become a vital component of the company’s success.
In an interview with the hospital’s media relations team, Morley expressed his passion for hospital operations and how his career began in supply chain management before moving into healthcare management. He spoke about his love for the connection between the work carried out within hospitals and its impact on patients and communities.
“I am excited to be joining such a dedicated team of caregivers at St. Mary’s Hospital,” said Morley. “This institution has a rich history of providing care to those in need, and I am honored to have the opportunity to contribute my skills and experience to help continue that legacy.”
In his new role at St. Mary’s Hospital, Morley will oversee various departments including inpatient pharmacy, information technology, safety and security among others. With diverse background and experience in healthcare management, he is expected to bring valuable insights into his new position as he works alongside exceptional individuals and teams to maintain high standards of excellence in all they do.
