Crowell & Moring’s chief innovation and value officer, Alma Asay, has been named to the International Legal Technology Association’s 2024 list of Influential Women in Legal Technology. This recognition highlights outstanding women leaders in the legal technology community who have made significant contributions to the industry through mentorship and innovation.
With over two decades of experience in the legal industry, Asay leads Crowell’s innovation and value initiatives as its first chief innovation and value officer. Her responsibilities include overseeing projects related to client value, business intelligence, knowledge management, practice innovation, research services, and generative AI. As a respected thought leader, she frequently speaks at industry conferences and conducts client presentations on various innovation and value-related topics.
Asay began her career as a litigator at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher before founding Allegory, a cloud-based litigation management platform. After Allegory was acquired by Integreon Discovery Solutions, Asay served as Integreon’s chief innovation officer. She later joined Litera Microsystems, where she focused on enhancing the company’s visibility and customer relationships through collaborations with industry leaders and developing technologies tailored to lawyers.
