Goodland High School’s Linkon Cure, a five-star tight end, is set to announce his college decision on July 1 during the 247Sports Football Recruiting Show at 5 p.m. ET. Kansas State is considered the favorite for Cure, with all five of the 247Sports Crystal Ball predictions in their favor.
Cure, who hails from Goodland High School in Kansas, is ranked as the No. 2 tight end and the No. 26 overall prospect in the Class of 2025 Top247 rankings. His other finalists include Oregon, Texas A&M, and Kansas, with Cure having visited each of these schools from Memorial Day to now, with Kansas State receiving his final official visit on June 21.
As a standout athlete in multiple sports at Goodland, Cure excels in track and field as a two-time Kansas 3A champion in the 300-meter hurdles and a state qualifier in various events. In basketball, he averaged 11.2 points per game as a junior and helped lead his team to a Kansas 3A title game appearance. In football, Cure was named a Kansas 3A All-State selection after a standout junior season with 42 catches for 946 yards and 14 touchdowns.
